Enjoy a fresh bouquet of flowers for four weeks from mid-July through mid-August. All bouquet ingredients are grown here at our property in Parkton. Each design features focal flowers, secondary flowers, and greens. Some of the annuals that bloom in summer are sunflowers, zinnias, celosia, cosmos, dahlias, strawflower, ageratum, lisianthus, and asters. Perennials include veronica, solidago, hydrangea, rudbeckia, sedum, and coneflower. Pick up your flowers from 10-4 on Saturdays at our Parkton home. Mixed bouquets contain different flowers each week, grower’s choice.
You may pick up your bouquets in three ways:
Wednesdays—Porch pick-up at our house, 3-9 pm. Dates: July 22, July 29, August 5, August 12. We have a semi-circular driveway, so you can pull up in front of our house, grab your flowers from our porch, and take them home.
Wednesdays—Pick up at the Creamery Connection, 3-9 pm. Dates: July 22, July 29, August 5, August 12. For folks who live closer to Mt. Carmel Road, it’s easy to pop into the ice cream shop and have the staff hand you your bouquet, which they’ll keep behind the counter.
Saturdays—Porch pick-up at our house, 10 am-4 pm. Dates: July 25, August 1, 8, 15. On Saturdays, I sell bouquets and jars of flowers in the workshop in our backyard, but your subscription bouquets will be at the house on the porch. Zip in, zip out.
