Nationally-famous floral designer Ellen Frost will teach a workshop on how to create beautiful arrangements with flowers grown at Merry Bees! Ellen owns Local Color Flowers in Baltimore, a floral design studio that uses only local flowers. Ellen is a leader of the local flower movement and a major voice in the Association of Specialty Cut Flowers Growers and the Maryland affiliate. She publishes newsletters and YouTube videos and facilitates connections through her flower-based community: FlowerMore. It is a tremendous honor to have her come to Merry Bees Flower Farm!
Ellen will take us step by step through the process of preparing materials, selecting flowers, and arranging stems in order to create a centerpiece. She is a wealth of knowledge, and her instruction will allow you to replicate your design with flowers from Merry Bees any time!
As with all Merry Bees’ workshops, light refreshments and wine will be served. You are always welcome to bring your own refreshments. Call your besties and book your spot!
